they SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just spent an hour and a half on hold just to cancel my home account! When I finally got a person, they said I had to call a different number. I was on hold because I was TRANSFERRED to the correct department. Their idiotic commercials screaming about new products are rotated every few seconds. The ironic thing is that I was paying to be on hold through my verizon cell phone!!!
When I asked politely where I could register or post a complaint, they couldn't direct me anywhere. They don't care about customer service because they can trap you in with their no escape plans!

as an employee i can say that this company does not care about its employees or customers. all they care about is stock price and cutting corners . terrible management team. hope verizon fails, bunch of scumbags

As another EX employee of Verizon call center. I totally agree. Garbage sevice. They do not care about their customers and they treat their employees like garbage. They make us the Tech support, listen to the customers complaints smooth over any problems VOL doesnt care to address. Iam happy when I can help with a problem and the customer gets some satisfaction with their service.I quit this job with the call center VOL subs out to. I was tired with the B.S. Im sorry for the customers who have to put up with VOL service. I hope Verizon rots and their cheap call centers.

What I hate most is that the poor schlub always asks "Have I provided you with outstanding service today?" I don't want to get an abused individual rep in trouble. But as a whole the service is the absolute opposite of "outstanding." It's not the rep, it's that I had to call (usually multiple times) in the first place!! And deal with the evil voice-menu lady!! Argghh!
