The more I work for Customer Service, the more I feel I must end it all

But not just with me, but with everyone around me.

Before I rant, I do have to say that VZW does have good coverage, I can see it for myself and some plans are good, but the morality of how we treat our customers is in terrible taste.

I work for an outsource VZW customer service, and I have to say that people are angry because they are being lied, cheated, swindled, robbed and pretty any other way of saying they're going to pay a lot of money and theres no alternative. Change a price plan? MONTH IN ADVANCED CHARGE! Go in to ask a question at the store, those reps have no fucking clue what they are talking about in which they call customer service, I just wanna strangle those assholes for all the damn mistakes I have to fix.

Don't even get me started on the fucking VCast bullshit, it's the most worthless feature for 15 dollars you could have on a phone and most people don't even know they have it on their account and end up paying 15 dollars or more a month for the past year and had no clue it was on there. If you see a "high bill", call customer service immediately and have them explain your bill, I'm a fucking journeyman when it comes to explaining bills because too many dumbshit reps make too many damn fucking mistakes.

Now the thing that REALLY gets me, is that I'm incredibly nice to people, I gave 40 bucks to a crack whore just because I don't like saying no, and while at work and people have high bills and have no idea exactly how it happened, I just want to credit EVERYTHING! But I can't because appearently "Verizon Wireless loses their money" due to every call and every credit we make. BUT THIS IS THE PART THAT MAKES ME REALLY FUCKING ANGRY! IF THEY ARE LOSING MONEY ON HAVING PEOPLE CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CREDITS, THEN MAYBE THEY SHOULD LOOK AT WHATS GOING WRONG AND TRY TO FIX THOSE DAMN PROBLEMS BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY HAPPEN!

The next part of our agenda, are the phones... DO NOT GET AN LG PHONE! EVER! I DON'T CARE IF THEY ARE FANCY AND DO ALL SORTS OF COOL SHIT BUT NOTHING BREAKS FASTER THAN A DAMN LG PHONE! THINK BRITTLE BONES AND SOFT SPOTS ON BABY HEADS, THAT IS HOW EASY THEY BREAK! I get a billion calls a day and most of them have to do with processing phones, most of them are LGs. Now this is another horrible part. We don't send out new phones, ONLY FIELD REPLACEMENT UNITS or FRU phones, "broken-now-fixed" phones that break faster than new ones. So people pay for 5 dollars a month for insurance and finally file a claim for a phone, and what do they get? FRU phones! Also known as pieces of shit that break into 3 pieces as soon as you get it out of the box. I had a call and this guy had 6 LG Chocolates already, but then again you gotta be pretty damn stupid to get 6 LG Chocolates and never have a thought pass your mind "Gee, I've 2 of these already, maybe I should get another phone?... No way! I look way to hip, cool, interesting and unique with my trendy expensive phone!", another reason I hate cellphones in general, they are marketted to teenagers that go wild on calling their retarded friends and racking up the overages for their even more retarded parents to pay for because "all charges are valid" as we would say.

In other words, fuck Verizon and pretty much all cellphone companies other than prepaid ones, it's a smart thing to do for saving a buck.

I just got chills reading that! Your post is the reason I quit that shit hole after only 4 months. I was making myself sick, pretending to be a little Verizarobot. "All charges are valid." "I understand your frustration." "Would you mind if I place you on a brief hold of 1-2 minutes (yeah fucking right) so that I may access all of my resources to assist you in addressing all of your concerns today?"

**Who the fuck talks like that?!?**

Yup, fuck Verizon. I wish there a was a word worse than fuck.....cause its never been so fitting.
