im just waiting for the day my boss trys to suspend me over some bullshit. i've kept a book on all the jobs that my boss had to "fix my time sheet". the hour and half no access jobs that my boss moved back to 45 minutes . the job info will be getting faxed straight to bucharelli's office, and its bye-bye manager.

what you are doing is illegal. do you think the manager will admit to that. you should call the union and the puc. i would also call the labor board and atorney general. this happens in r.i. all the time. managers do this so they look better and get better bonus

what is illegal, please refer me to the law that states what is illegal about it. lol. when the ticket # number is looked at and they see that a certain time has been taken, and they cross reference it to the gps on my truck that shows that more time was accually used, and speak to the speak to the customer the managers ass is grass. i dont need any manager to admit anything. their own tools that they buy to spy on techs will be turned against them. cant argue with the gps reports. remember computers are too dumb to lie. they tell nothing but the truth. what is illegal is managers fixing numbers so that they can steal their bonus from the company. Ill be waiting for your response and the law u refer me too that shows im in the wrong . thankyou

while im waiting ill tell u what IS illegal. falsifying numbers in order to get a check for 10 grand. sending techs in desease riddin, cockroach infested houses. sending techs to work in areas with espestos without proper safety equipment. telling techs to climb poles that have rotten away and tagged unclimbable. giving techs unsafe equipment like ladders with bent steps and busted up hardware. telling techs to lay service wires on the ground ,conecting them to an ont , activating then going back and hanging the service drop after the fact all so they can meet their activation time quotas.(im sure the father of the seven year old girl riding her bike that gets closelined of her bike by a service drop will really appreciate that one). dispatching techs on their service order before they even arrive to work so that verizon does not miss the comitted time and get fined by the PUC. not asking techs if they are available to work overtime and placing 12 hours of work on them(when the tech is contractually obligated to work 8 hours unless they are forced) and telling them they will be suspended if they dont complete the work (and oh well if your need to be anywhere for you family that night). do you need me to go on? Ill be waiting for ur response.

I was reading all the comments made here and I just felt compelled to add my two cents. You see, I was one of the 11 first level managers who were terminated and I feel sick that I am labeled as a “cheat” and “got what I deserved” by people who have no idea what really took place here. True, you can say what you want and have an opinion but don’t judge us by rumors and talk. I gave this company over 20 years of my life both as a technician and manager and I hope I treated those who worked for me and with me with respect.

We are not all “cheats and liars” as some would lead you to believe. We are just people in a thankless job trying to make a living like everyone else. Unfortunately being a first level manager is no longer an attractive position in this changing company. When I first became a manager the stress level was no way near what it is now. Productivity was always an issue but nothing like it became nearly two years ago when a certain person arrived on the scene after “fixing” New York. We were pressured every day to meet our productivity or our jobs were threatened. If I had a crystal ball I would never have taken the job and I’m sure I speak for a good number of current and former first level managers, unless of course you are a recent hire or selfish and don’t care about others. In that case you will fit right in, just what the company is looking for…go get ‘em kid. To those of you who are quick to judge us, all I can say is walk a mile in our shoes first then come to me with your opinion don’t just fire from the hip.

To get back to the issue here the company would like you to believe we falsified documents, specifically, time sheets for the technicians, when in fact what we did, under the direction of our boss was to correct inaccurate field reporting codes which were generated by none other than Verizon’s own antiquated system. No additional time was added to the Technicians time sheet. The field reporting code was incorrect and didn’t reflect the proper close out code for the type of job he/she was working on. This would impact the productivity numbers so we were told to correct it, innocent enough. I never gave it a thought that correcting an error would be considered falsifying records. My God they were false to begin with.

In closing just to let everyone know, we did not receive any compensation from the company when we were let go, just walked off the property and humiliated in front of others. And to top it off I just received a letter from payroll asking me to return one week’s pay. They say they pay their managers one week in advance. Funny, I always made out my time sheet for the two prior weeks I worked not one week ahead. I guess I was cheating all those years.

i hope you screw all those managers dude. they are all company until they get the boot, then they cry. where was the compassion wen you had the job for your mployees?. just a corporate stooge finally realizing that corporations dont give a shit about you your family or their customers. plain and simple. VERIZON DOES SUCK AND WILL FAIL

why didnt you first levels say no to illegal activities? its because you are all puppets who will do anything that your told. all afraid of losng job. i say lets all get together,fired workers, and start a criminal investigation into how he company does illegal things. this company is in for a shockof a lifetime.

its amazing how terrified all the first level managers are--they are all willing to do any kind of illegal immoral activity because they are too scared to tell their bosses to F'off-- the harrassment of workers is incredible-- firing people for no reason except to scare their co-workers --despicable behavior!most everyone gets their jobs back but it takes a long time

there are many good bosses in verizon but alot of kiss asses to 2nd level that ends up screwing techs..look at all the bullshit first levels gotta put up with then they get canned with nothing to show for it but they chose to be first levels and they knew what they were getting into
