Verizon No Show - Richmond VA

Ordered Verizon FiOS phone service early April (already had FiOS Internet); 40 minutes on the phone to complete the order - seriously! Representative informed me the tech would show 4/22 from 8-12; took off from work; called at 1130 and was told the install was scheduled for 5/1. Verizon had my landline and cell numbers and verizon.net e-mail address but did not bother to notify me of the change. Told the rep. to cancel my order; am staying with Cavalier Telephone.

this is the standard operating procedure for verizon. good for you by cancelling order. maybe when verizon gets hit in the wallet,they will smarten up.
