CANCEL ASAP!

I went to a Verizon store today to dispute unecessary charges. However the rep had me on the phone ( OBVIOUSLY DEFEATING THE PURPOSE!!!) and had me to speak to a rep there! Long story short my contract ended the 6/15/2009, I was somehow charged for two months in 1 month coming out to a impressingly grand total of 300 dollars! My phone broke so I havent been using the phone, I was out of the country and now they are forcing me to pay 100 dollars for the month of AUGUST EVEN THOUGH IM NOT USING THE PHONE! I immediately had the whole thing cancelled today..BUT STILL STUCK WITH AUGUST BILL!!!! HOW FUCKED UP is that? Really no phone and still insist that continue with them!
WHAT THEY REALLY NEED TO DO IS RE EVALUATE THEIR STAFF AND TRAIN THEM PROPERLY WITH THE SAME INFO SO THEY DONT HAVE YOU TELL EVERYONE YOUR WHOEL SITUATION...THEN TRANFERRED "TO ANOTHER REPRESENATIVE THAT CAN BETTER ASSIST YOU"!

So your contract expired in June, but you never cancelled your account until August and are bitching about being billed? Sorry, that's your fault, not Verizon's.
