Screwed in Merger

I was an Alltel customer, a happy customer, and got transitioned to Verizon. I have paid two bills to Verizon under my Alltel plan. The time came to renew my phone and I found out that I could not use a Verizon phone on an Alltel plan even though they use the same technology. WTF??? Then if I change my plan all the other phones on my plan, there are two others, would have to be changed to Verizon phones as well. I went through with it and changed to a Verizon plan. Now this month my bill is over $300. They pro-rated my account because they said I was considered a new customer even they I had paid Verizon for two billing cycles before that. How can this be right????

Dump them and go to a different company like I did. Then you have to write the FCC on this lousy company.
