So, Verizon has a thirty day 'worry free' policy which is if you sign a contact, and don't like the phone your signed the contract on.. or you don't like Verizon at all you could end your business with them, and return the phone with no penalty between thirty day's.
so then we realized that we didn't like their service and tried to end it on the thirtieth day.
We went to a VZW store to end it with this program and they wouldn't let us cancel it without a early cancellation fee.
We spent HOURS on the phone arguing that we went to a different VZW store in the same city and they let us do it no questions asked.

It should be so much easier for the public to punish individual stores.

I would report the store to Verizon and leave it in their hands to deal with them. As much as Verizon doesn't like NOT getting your money, they don't handle employees losing customers for them very well.
