He had 5 Phones with them, For gods Sake!
Dropping one should not result in a 200$ fine.
An additionl line only cost 10 a month.. $200=20 months! So if he was more that 4 months onto his contact thay charged him more for canceliing than if her would have kept the phone in a draw for the remander of his contact.
IT's INSANE!!

| when he signed the 2 year CONTRACT, he agreed that if he dropped ANY line he would have to pay $200. his fault, not verizon's. Anonymous - Verizon H8er ID: F39405 |

It's still an Insane & Unfair.
Any NORMAL Company would have told him it's 'You wont save by cancelling.. You may as well keep the phone.'

By the way- VZW doesn't have $200 ETFs.
So there's the first lie.
It's either $175, or $350 (only if you just bought an advanced device within the last 6 months). AND, it's not even $175, if you had 3 months on your contract left (durrr why did you cancel) then your ETF would have only been $70. I mean really. It decreases by $5 a month after the first 6 months, until it gets down to $60.
So your ETF was $70... that's the price you paid for breaching a contract, and what you agreed to when you got that cool new phone 21 months prior.Outsourced. - Verizon H8er ID: 89EB71 |

by that way - the ETF isn't that hard to figure out. It's in your customer agreement.

| Sounds like it was originally an Alltel contract. They were $200 and did not go down over time like Verizon's do. It's all on the customer agreement you signed just the same. Anonymous - Verizon H8er ID: 68F443 |
